IT FACILITEIS INCLUDING WIFI
The campus is well equipped with over 869 computers. The facility is distributed across the campus in computer centers at multiple locations. The campus has been enabled with internet bandwidth services on 24X7 support, providing anytime anywhere access to knowledge and learning resources. The computer centers are accessible to students during college working hours and beyond. Computing facilities in the faculty rooms, administration and facilities management are inter-networked with high speed redundant fiber optic backbone. Datacenter was built for managing network operations within the main campus and across campuses. Server infrastructure includes 14 servers with Unified storage of 24 TB Capacity and 20 HPC nodes. We have also implemented VMWare virtualization solution to enhance the server availability for the various applications hosted. Unified storage can be made use for storing data by staff members and students. The Data center in ICTS also hosts redundant internet links totaling to 800Mbps. Fort iGATE 400E, a hardware fire wall is being used to protect our servers and entire college network.
Various specialized computing facilities for CAD-CAM, VLSI, Embedded System, Digital Signal processing etc are provided in the respective departments. The intranet site hosts links to various IT enabled services like Amrita University Management System (AUMS), Digital library, Central Library book search, Email, FTP, Help Desk etc and Biometric systems for staff attendance

Facilities for e-content development:
The resources provided on campus are of international standards for school of its size and age. Students have multiple options to learn, develop and explore.
The key highlights of knowledge delivery infrastructure include;
- The INDO-US class room is equipped with two projectors and high end AV system for class room interaction.
- The class room also holds the facility for recording both Audio and Video to enable the audience to refer in the future through multiple camera with editing tools available in the control room. The captured Audio and Video will be edited and will be made available over intranet for student’s access.
- The most significant step towards excellence has been taken by setting up the ELearning facility, AVIEW, set up across all the campuses. “A-View" webcasting tool developed by our University is very well used to interact with multiple Amrita campuses in different occasion which holds the same facility.
